Energy monitors will help residents reduce their carbon emissions |

East Hampshire residents can reduce their carbon emissions and save money by using energy monitors to keep a close eye on the power they use at home. The E.On energy monitors have been placed in libraries around the area by East Hampshire District Council. They will be loaned free to residents for fixed periods to help them establish how much energy they are using in their homes. Each energy monitor pack includes a guide on how to set up and use the easy-to-install equipment and some top energy saving tips. Residents will also be asked to complete a home energy survey which will generate a report from the Energy Saving Trust showing how residents can save even more energy and money. Energy monitors can be borrowed from libraries at Alton, Petersfield, Liphook and Bordon. For further information please contact Pennie Brown on 023 9244 6554.
